Directly succeeding the GT Turbo is the Glanza, the high-performance variant of the fifth and final generation of the Starlet series. Top-of-the-line Glanza V variants retained the 4E-FTE engine that has already become a highly regarded engine in the tuner community. In 1999, the Starlet was replaced by the Yaris as Toyota's subcompact car series.

4th Generation GT Turbo

Introduced in 1990, the Starlet GT Turbo is a high-performance variant of the fourth generation Starlet. As the direct successor of the the third generation Turbo R, the GT Turbo came with an an all-new that nearly doubled the horsepower of the previous model. 1994 facelift models such as this unit can be distinguished by their quad headlights.

3rd Generation Turbo

The third generation of Starlets saw a lot of changes in both its production and design. Not only was it the first in its series to be assembled outside Japan, it was also the first Starlet to feature a front-wheel drive layout. However, this generation became particularly famous for its Turbo R variant, as it were the first high-performance subcompact car built by a Japanese automaker.

2nd Generation

The Starlet was Toyota's subcompact car series produced from 1973 to 1999. Second generation Starlets such as this unit were the first to be sold outside Japan, which were well-received especially in Europe as superminis were growing in popularity at that time. However, this generation of Starlets have also been known to become prone to rust, making it difficult to come across a unit in good condition.
