This museum was established to celebrate the rich history of the Toyota automobile business and is dedicated to ensuring that both people and motor vehicles to have a bright future. R garage is ready to share lessons that hopes to inspire ideas about the future of mobility , progress of our society and help to create a new vehicle culture entirety.
We are the FIRST ever pure Toyota car museum up in the North , FIRST in Philippines and FIRST in Southeast Asia outside Japan. This museum has the largest collection of Toyota vehicles.

HISTORICAL PERSONS OF R-GARAGE
Founded by a Father-and-Son team. Our founder Rene So (President of Toyota Dagupan group) and our Co- founder his son Richmond So (General Manager of Toyota La Union). They aspire to see R garage as a platform for tourism enterprise that will help develop socially responsible tourism industry , initiate educational bridges that promotes inclusive growth for the next generation through partnerships in the government and other private sectors.

HISTORY OF R GARAGE
The essence of R garage's narrative is a convergence of history, nostalgia, passion, and an eye towards what's to come. The Founder Rene So , grew up in a family with an auto supply business, he shared that he knows the ins and out of a vehicle and the automotive business is very close to his heart, even if he is till young, he has the hunger to expand it even more. In the year 1989 they got the news that Toyota will have a rebirth in the Philippines. They immediately applied. Then after 4 years of patiently waiting, they were appointed to be the Toyota dealership in Pangasinan. He appreciated the Toyota way because it pushed him to be the best version of himself with “ respect for people and continuous improvement” as its pillars. He said that it is a company that he is proud to be part of and the company that he wants to pass down to his son.

Richmond is an achiever and always wants to be at the best of his game. His early childhood was filled with an amazing adventure about playing games and being the best at everything. While he is studying, he developed a love for data analysis, training and graduated as one of the best students. Even though he was offered with a 6-figure salary.

Even though he was offered with a 6-figure salary. He honored his parents by fulfilling their wish for him to work in the province and to manage their newly built dealership in La Union. He fell deeper in love with Toyota when he visited the Tokyo Motor Show in Japan and desired to collect classic Toyota cars.
In the year 2017, Richmond got the opportunity to acquire the illusive AE 86 and A80 by then He started collecting all the generations of Land cruiser, Celica and Supra.

In the year 2020 the construction began. After 2 years with the delays due the pandemic R garage was established in the year 2022. a 1600 square meters Pure Toyota Car museum ready to cater visitors, for them to appreciate the “ Rich History of Toyota “ and the complete line up of Celica , Land Cruiser and Supra.

R garage isn’t just here to honor Toyota, ignite a passion for automobile but here to share Toyota’s values ( Two pillar of Toyota Way ; Respect for people & Continuous Improvement ) and lastly to give back to the society.
MEANING OF R GARAGE LOGO
Letter R is the first letter of our Founder and Co founders name. Rene and Richmond. R is also an easier way to say “our”. In this way the owners of R garage didn’t just acquire the vehicles for themselves but for all to see and appreciate the rich history of Toyota. It’s not just R garage ( Rene and Richmond’s garage) but “our” garage a place where we can all witness the greatness of Toyota of the past , present and future.
According to Collins dictionary R is a written abbreviation meaning “ King “. R garage is the first of its kind here in the Philippines. This museum holds the largest collection of Toyota vehicles from past to present which means it is the “ Pinnacle” or “ King “ in this aspect.
Red means “ Love and Passion “ Love for the people and the brand is what our founders are passionate about. R garage is a platform for tourism development and growth in the quality of life for the people in the community. It is also an extension of Toyota’s principle “excellence to exceed”. To serve the people with utmost love and passion.

1.Parallel lines means trust. The two parallel lines in the R garage logo connotes the two pillar of the Toyota way “ respect for people and kaizen “. This said aspect of Toyota was the one who made an impact in the lives of the founders. The strong trust between father and son was projected by this two lines.
2. The curve line on top of the right diagonal means “ movement or progress “. R garage envisions to create a movement of people who will impact the lives of next generation through community immersion and education.
